Backstory
Rosetta researchers have plucked Meta-Humans from their original time and space and dragged them to Nalcott.
But once Meta-Humans reach a certain point, they can get the coordinates for Eternaland from Mitsuko, who has also been trapped by Rosetta.
Using the “Rift Anchor,” Meta-Humans can create an anchor and return to Eternaland. Mitsuko’s projection will also be freed from Rosetta’s watchful eye and travel with the Metas.
Eternaland will revert back to its original appearance amid the tumult. If players so choose, they can settle and construct homes in Eternaland.
Each Eternaland is a small “bubble world”. When approaching the boundary, phantom images of the world will float in the ether.
We’re hoping to offer all sorts of seasonal content and mechanics, as well as close the gap between players so more can team up and play together. So far, we’ve received lots of helpful feedback about the seasonal gameplay, such as how entering a new season could result in major item loss, how some felt disappointed when homes they’d built got destroyed, or how some felt it was too abrupt to go straight from one season to the next.
We’ve taken your feedback to heart, and are working to optimize our seasonal content. On top of this, we’re unveiling Eternaland, which will also function as a transition between seasons and a unique world for each Meta-Human.
Cross-Season Item Transfer
With Eternaland as a fixed anchor point, we’ll also be adjusting item transfer rules based on preexisting seasonal item inheritance. You can save items/souvenirs collected throughout the season in Eternaland in the following ways:
1. Special Backpack Items
Items/data that could previously carry over to the new season can also be used in Eternaland, including: Starchrom, Equipment Blueprints, Mods, Furniture Formula (Memetic excluded), Cosmetic Items, and more.
2. Regular Backpack Items
Weapons, Armor, Materials (including materials, medicine, and ammo) will be transferred to Eternaland between seasons and stored in the Depot. There is no limit to the amount of items you can transfer to Eternaland, but transferring items into the new season will cost a certain amount of Material Points depending on the item type. Material Points will refresh each season, and you can transfer items to the new season as long as you have Material Points. You can also sell Regular Backpack Items in Eternaland for Astral Sand, the currency used for construction.
*Players currently in a season cannot transfer items to Eternaland. Eternaland items are not connected with seasonal servers and will have separate Depots.
Limitless Construction
Nothing escapes the laws of the cosmos, and everything disintegrates into a fine sand once it passes through the Silver Gate. However, in Eternaland, anything built with sand is eternal.
In Eternaland, the universe is the limit, with construction possible anywhere on the island. No areas are off-limits: You can build as much as you’d like.
But of course, as your homes get better and better, the third-person Character Mode won’t be good enough for construction. That’s when you can switch to Flight Mode.
You can save and share Eternaland Building Blueprints and collaborate with others, either by sharing your own creations or using other’s Blueprints to construct an island all your own.
We look forward to seeing what our Metas cook up, and will be rolling out some activities for user-generated content. Who knows? Some of your Buildings/Islands might end up in Nalcott someday :)
*Due to current limitations, there is a temporary cap on Eternaland building modules. We will keep optimizing the game to raise this cap down the line.
Cross-Server Meet-ups
You can also invite friends from different seasonal servers to visit Eternaland. We’re really hoping Eternaland will offer you a chance to regroup before the next season and let your creativity run wild as you build at will — or even throw parties!
You can even host your own fireworks celebration on Eternaland to have some fun when off the battlefield.
You can also stage an island competition with Warband friends, competing in scenes you’ve designed yourself and granting whatever reward you choose to prepare.
Not only that, you can even build your own racetrack for others to come and drift to their heart’s content!
We hope Eternaland is a place for Metas to let their imaginations run wild!
We will be rolling out even more configurations and options for you to enjoy down the line. Stay tuned!
Run Your Own Eternaland
Nothing escapes the laws of the cosmos, and everything disintegrates once it passes through the Silver Gate, reunited in Eternaland where memories never fade.
The Eternaland Shop is where you can sell building materials in exchange for Astral Sand, the currency needed for construction in Eternaland. Once you complete certain orders, the Shop will also sell simple tools and materials, as well as construction parts exclusive to Eternaland.
Materials brought in from the season server can also be sold in the Eternaland Shop for Astral Sand.
Eternaland is still a work in progress, and we welcome any and all feedback!
